The private crewed space launch vehicle startup ‘UnaStella’ has succeeded in a test rocket launch. After failing in its first attempt last November, it achieved this result on its second try, marking the first case of a private company successfully launching a rocket in Korea on its own.
UnaStella said on the 29th that at 11:50 p.m. on the 28th it successfully conducted a test launch of its self-developed small launch vehicle, ‘Una Express No. 1,’ from its own launch site in Goheung, South Jeolla Province. The rocket completed a total flight of 10 km and ended its flight by falling into the designated maritime safety zone in Goheung County.
