UNA EXPRESS-I

UNA EXPRESS-I is a single-stage suborbital launch vehicle that provides 40 seconds of microgravity. It uses kerosene and liquid oxygen as propellants and is equipped with the VOLTA-52P pressure-fed combustor.

UNASTELLA successfully launched UNA EXPRESS-I from its private launch site in Goheung, Jeollanam-do, in May 2025. UNA EXPRESS-I completed flight verification of the launch vehicle system and engine as designed.

VOLTA-52P engine​

VOLTA-52P is UNASTELLA’s first completed engine and has completed flight verification on UNA EXPRESS-I. Using a helium pressure-fed cycle, the engine was developed through performance testing at the combustion test facility in Yeoju and the vertical stage qualification facility at the Goheung launch site.
