[Press Release] Unastella succeeds in single qualification test... achieves final milestone before second launch attempt

[Notice] At 6:00 PM on April 23, 2025, UNASTELLA successfully completed the final milestone of its second launch campaign—the Static Hot Fire Test (Stage Qualification Test) at our launch site in Yeompo Village, Eo-naro Island, Goheung County, Jeollanam-do.

This critical test involves securing the launch vehicle to the ground and igniting the engine under near-flight conditions. This procedure verifies not only the performance and reliability of the propulsion system but also ensures the overall functionality of the integrated launch vehicle systems. Key flight-critical elements such as combustion stability, structural integrity, and the accuracy of measurement and control systems are comprehensively validated on the ground.

Through rigorous safety procedures, the engine entered a stable operating state, and we successfully collected all the performance data we aimed for.

More than just an engine check, this was a full-stage validation of the launch vehicle—marking a significant turning point for UNASTELLA as a private space startup. It was a moment that proved the possibilities ahead, and the dedication that brought us here.
