UNASTELLA’s
journey continues.

UNASTELLA’s
journey continues.

Unique Fast Culture

Execution over perfection. Experimentation over analysis. Within three years of its founding, UNASTELLA attempted its first launch. Guided by “Right Now, Right Here” and “Learning by Burning,” we are transforming the speed and cost structure of space development through rapid execution and iterative learning. Our willingness to act without fear of failure is our greatest asset.

Own Engine Tech

UNASTELLA designs and manufactures every core propulsion component in-house, including igniters, combustors, and electric motor pumps. Our engine is the world’s highest-thrust electric pump-fed liquid rocket engine, proving what electric pump-fed propulsion can achieve beyond its perceived limits. The engine is our heart, and technology is our language.

Proven-Plus Roadmap

UNASTELLA has built a technology formula designed for success. Our chosen kerosene and liquid oxygen propellant combination is a global standard proven through more than 5,000 launches. Electric motor pumps simplify engine architecture, reducing development and operational risk through practical innovation. By combining these technologies, UNASTELLA has designed a system built for both launch success and commercialization.

K-Industrial Stack

Speed comes not from willpower, but from structure. Korea’s industrial ecosystem is built to support the pace required for launch vehicle development. With design, manufacturing, and testing infrastructure concentrated within a 200 km radius, UNASTELLA can iterate rapidly through daily feedback and decision-making, shortening development cycles while naturally reducing technical risk. Combined with competitive labor and logistics costs compared with the U.S., 30 years of accumulated rocket development experience, and a world-class advanced components and materials supply chain, UNASTELLA is building launch vehicles quickly, reliably, and cost-effectively.

Focus-Driven Philosophy

A complete system is built through focus and prioritization. UNASTELLA’s philosophy begins with clearly distinguishing what is essential from what is optional. We focus on engine development and system integration, which determine launch vehicle performance and reliability, while actively leveraging proven external resources and partners in other areas. Like the fabless model in semiconductors, we focus on our core strengths to raise the quality of the entire system and maintain development speed with minimal facility investment and lean teams.

Launch-Ready in Korea

UNASTELLA is the only private company to have secured both launch licensing and a launch site within South Korea. We have built an end-to-end system spanning design, testing, and launch across Yeoju, Daejeon, and Goheung. We are the only private rocket company capable of launching from Korea.

Guided by the Best

UNASTELLA works with a leading expert network at the center of Korea’s space ecosystem. We are strengthening our core capabilities through advisory support from former KARI experts and technology transfers from KARI, while receiving program collaboration and policy and technical support from KASA. This network, combining public-sector experience with private-sector innovation, is what enables UNASTELLA to move faster and more safely toward space.
