Five research teams, including KARI, conduct a "weightlessness" experiment in space aboard a privately developed rocket

Materials and devices being developed by five research teams in Korea, including the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), will be launched into space at the end of this year aboard a rocket made by a private launch vehicle company. The plan is to evaluate the changes that the microgravity environment in space causes in each material or device.

According to the science and technology community on the 14th, by the end of this year a total of five research teams — four teams from government-funded research institutes and one university research team — will carry the materials and devices they are studying aboard a rocket being developed by the domestic launch vehicle company Unastella to conduct microgravity environment experiments.
