Private crewed space launch vehicle developer UnaStella selected for Scale-Up TIPS

On the 5th, private crewed space launch vehicle specialist Unastella announced that it had been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Scale-up TIPS'.

Scale-up TIPS is a program in which an operator made up of a consortium of private investment firms and R&D-specialized companies identifies promising small and medium-sized ventures and invests first, after which the government provides follow-up support. Unastella received investment and a recommendation from TIPS operator 'ETRI Holdings'. It was highly evaluated for its technology, business viability, and project execution capabilities, and will receive a total of 1.2 billion won in research and development (R&D) funding over three years.
